Description
If you could send a letter back in time to your younger self what would you say? This book is my answer to that question. On my final day I hope that I get the chance to reassure my boys once again that I love them and that I am proud of them. However, there will be so much to tell them, so many words that I do not wish to have die with me. While I’m reasonably sure these pages will not travel back in time, I do hope that younger versions of me find something useful within. I am a martial arts instructor and half of this book is written in that voice. Part one is a collection of essays and letters that I wrote to the members of my martial arts academy. I am also a father. Part two of this book collects letters written to my boys from that perspective. These two aspects of myself, the coach and the father, were combined to put together this book.
